Every year in the world, more than 4 million women and children are victims of sexual traffic, prostitution and exploitation. They are often deluded, kidnapped, tortured or raped…
In the worldwide sexual market, the “trade” of women and children prostitution is estimated to generate 7 to 12 billion dollars (Hugues, Sporcic and Mendelson 1999; Leidholdt, 1998 sources).

Fair Fashion is a member of the NGO ALLIANCE ANTI TRAFIC and of AFESIP VIETNAM. Both of these organizations struggle efficiently against sexual exploitation and prostitution of women and children in South-East Asia since 1997.

• Since its setting up in 1997, AFESIP has assisted thousands of prostitutes and, in concrete terms, has provided aid for more than 3000 young girls: repatriation, accommodation and protection within our 6 centres of reception and rehabilitation, professional training, psychological and medical follow-up care, reintegration into their family environment, social integration…

• ALLIANCE ANTI TRAFIC brings together several NGOs and institutions throughout the world in order to struggle against causes and effects of worldwide human beings’ traffics

Victims, who choose to go in for a career in dressmaking or embroidery, are trained and salaried at Fair Fashion.

We enable these women to fulfil their potential in their adult’s life, since they often had to face the worst as children. Fair Fashion helps them as far as possible to create their own clothing shop.

Moreover Fair Fashion is meant to be fair to you by controlling each of the retailing costs and by avoiding go-between agents which are too greedy in the sake of a kind of “ethics”.

The starting production rate is also given, so as you can exactly know what your contribution to the dressmakers is. Fair Fashion is through that process the pioneer of a new form of trade which does hardly exist at all.
